Mrs. Jennings joined our faculty in 2012 when she brought the 7th and 8th grades from Holy Family Junior High School to Notre Dame.  Prior to that she taught Science, Math, English, and Religion at Holy Family Junior High from 1999 until 2012.  Mrs. Jennings has been the Director of the 7th and 8th Grades, and has taught 7th and 8th grade Science and Theology.  She continues as Director of the 7th and 8th grades and is now also the guidance counselor for grades 7, 8, and 9.

 

Mrs. Jennings graduated from Cornell University as a biologist, graduated from Columbia University as a Physical Therapist, and earned her Master’s in Developmental Psychology from the University of Rochester. She continues to learn every day from colleagues and from her students.  Mrs. Jennings loves the challenges and inspiration that come from professional development opportunities.

 

No stranger to Notre Dame before she joined the faculty, Mrs. Jennings has four alumni sons who have all become successful, kind, and hardworking adults, building on their Notre Dame and Holy Family educations.  She was a member of the Board of Trustees from 1995 until 2001.
