Deborah Fredo holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Massachusetts. Prior to coming to Notre Dame High School in 2013, Deborah lived and worked for many years in West Africa, serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal and later working for nongovernmental organizations in Mali as curriculum director and teacher trainer. 

 

At Notre Dame she teaches Service Learning (ACE), Reading and English Language Arts Academic Intervention Services (AIS), and Theology as needed.  She is also the Designated School Official for International Students.  She is the proud host mother of six Malian students who graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
