Mr. Pipher teaches social studies and technology (7th & 8th grade). Mr. Pipher has instructed in various environments over the past fifteen years, including the Children's Home of Wyoming Conference, MacCormick Secure Center, Empire State Speech & Hearing Clinic and Sayre HS (13 yrs).
Mr. Pipher attended Corning Community College, Binghamton University and Cortland University where he completed degree-work in Secondary Education and U.S. history.
Mr. Pipher provides a warm classroom-atmosphere that fosters compassion, critical thinking, civic responsibility and life-long learning. Mr. Pipher works to reach each student at their skill-level and take them higher than they thought they could or wanted to go.
Mr. Pipher loves baseball, cooking and playing the guitar.
His favorite book is "The Things They Carried", by Tim O'Brien.
Mr. Pipher resides in Waverly with his beloved family: wife Theresa, sons Jack, Jason and their Labradoodle Ada.
