John Olisky graduated from Boston College with a double degree in English and Communications. He received his degree in Secondary Education from Elmira College. He arrived "very green", in his words, at Notre Dame High School in September 1981. He has since taught every course in the theology curriculum. John is currently the Chair of the Theology Department and teaches "Understanding the Bible", "Morality", and Psychology. John is always happiest when engaging his students in the classroom. His best moments are when he has finished mowing his lawn & he is sitting in his garden with a book in his hand, gazing at his tomato plants.
